Refurbished computers are smart purchases
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008When you decide to buy one of those cheap laptops it is always a trade off between the brand new one and refurbished computers. If you make a real comparison you may find that in many counts buying refurbished computers could be a smart move for you.
A comparison will show you the truth about the cheap and refurbished laptops. For example a new laptop provided by Dell Company or any other reputed company may come at the price of around $1100 whereas the refurbished one with almost identical quality will come at a cost of around $900. Thus you get the same benefits with expenses reduced by $200 which is by no means a mean saving.
In addition you also get the warranty for 1-3 years as in case of new laptops. The computer is recertified and the company allows most of the facilities as provided during the warranty period to new buyers. Recertification indicates that the problems that the laptop had have been identified and fixed.
Thus with a refurbished laptop you are getting almost a brand new machine problem free. There is not much difference between new lenovo laptops and the refurbished ones. Rather you get the discount rate. This means that you are getting high end models for less cost. For example you might buy refurbished IBM laptops that are recertified. It will come with an operating system and a number of software free of cost all going to your debit side in the deal.
