Our Office Supply Site Has Really Taken Off
The office supplies store that I work at has just hired four new employees to keep up with the amount of sales that we have just started doing since our office supply website has started to rank well. The front part of the building is strictly for cash and carry sales from our local customers. The back end of the building is the warehouse where we keep every item that we offer, stocked.
When we had our website built a few years ago, it did not really bring in the sales that everyone thought that it would. Now that the boss put a bunch of money into it for marketing, it has taken off. In fact, the sales have quadrupled over the last six months. The four new employees take the online office supply orders and fill each of them and send them out to wherever they need to go. We had to ask the local deliver company to stop in four times a day to pick up our orders because if they do not, then the dock gets backed up and processing orders comes to a standstill and the boss does not like a standstill of any kind.
I am so glad to work for a company that is growing, with the economy the way that it is, that is a good thing. Our office supplies store is going to be here for a long time to come thanks to the World Wide Web.
